We started the lesson with some soothing David Attenborough only to disrupt the peace with some seriously snappy fly traps. We learned about carnivorous plants and how Venus Fly Traps are incredibly clever - did you know they have a special system that prevents them from wasting energy on false alarms and trapping their pollinators (the good guys)? How cool is that!
